GridStor Begins Installing Emission

BENROUND - Gas stations pollute far more than storage sites. Not sure why Chik-fil-A was mentioned (other than its politics maybe?)? Contrary to the "anti green" propaganda, storage systems are safer than they were years ago and the technology and knowledge base is growing rapidly as these new systems are implemented. Sure, there are hazards, but demanding all renewable energy and storage systems to be 100% safe is unreasonable and results in nothing being done to clean up our planet.

"Battery storage does not emit localized pollution that is harmful to human health." - https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/energy-storage-faq#:~:text=Battery%20storage%20does%20not%20emit,is%20harmful%20to%20human%20health.

"Are lithium-ion batteries a fire or chemical hazard? They can be, but that hazard can be mitigated with proper attention, care, and disposal" - https://www.ucsusa.org/resources/energy-storage-faq#:~:text=Battery%20storage%20does%20not%20emit,is%20harmful%20to%20human%20health.

"EPRI's battery energy storage system database has tracked over 50 utility-scale battery failures, most of which occurred in the last four years. One fire resulted in life-threatening injuries to first responders. These incidents represent a 1 to 2 percent failure rate across the 12.5 GWh of lithium-ion battery energy storage worldwide." - https://eprijournal.com/a-focus-on-battery-energy-storage-safety/
